Impressive Tall Edwardian Solid Brass Desk or Table Lamp C1910

Description

Professionally restored and rewired.

This is a fabulous opportunity to acquire a solid brass desk or table lamp dated to around 1910.

It is wonderful in the classic Corinthian design with the fluted column and Acanthus top standing on a stepped square and ebonised wooden base with brass bun feet, it has a cast iron weighted base for stability and as you would expect it is extremely heavy.

It has been totally rewired by a fully qualified electrician and is ready for immediate use. It also comes with a brand new cream coloured shade.

In excellent condition with the brightness of the solid brass yet retaining the patina which you would expect of pieces of this period.

It measures 38 inches in height with the shade, the base is 7.5 inches square.

This is a beautiful genuine lamp and not to be confused with reproductions.
