An excellent antique French Gothic clock set by the famous maker Samuel Marti. It is made of brass with lions masks handles, goddess mask to the front and hairy paw feet. Candelabra are similarly styled, with 5 light candelabra are have the original snuffers.
The Samuel Marti French movement is of the highest quality and is in excellent clean and running condition having been fully serviced by our clockmaker. Pendulum is original. It runs for 8 days and strikes the hours and halves on a bell. Click the movie below to hear the bell and watch the clock running!
Condition of the case is excellent with clean and bright finish and there are no losses There are some fine cracks in the brass urns. The dial has some very slight chipping around the winding holes.
Complete with original pendulum, bell and a suitable key. Full setting up instructions supplied if required.
