William IV Rosewood Writing Table C.1830.

Description

Exceptional quality William IV rosewood writing or sofa table c.1830. Beautiful top featuring symmetrically arranged rosewood veneers of fabulous figuring and colour on mahogany groundwork. With a pair of slim drawers hidden in the crossbanded apron below. On turned legs with crisply carved acanthus leaf detail and terminating in a platform base, with carved bun feet and original castors. Note the lack of a connecting stretcher and shallow apron allows the table to be used as a writing desk. Excellent condition, cleaned and polished in our workshops.

Dimensions: width 48", depth 25", height 29".
