Description

A rosewood specimen marble Early Victorian Period chess table. Having a solid rectangular rosewood top with a wonderful specimen marble inset top in the form of a chess board with a porphyry border. The table having a mahogany lined frieze drawer and supported on rosewood spiral twist supports with a platform base united by a stretcher with carved lobed feet and inset brass castors. English circa 1840-1850

Dimensions: 24.5" wide x 19.5" deep x 27.5" high

Condition: This table is in excellent original condition, cleaned and waxed
