Description

An outstanding find is this wonderful late nineteenth century perpetual calendar with a hook to the top of hanging.

Made from silver, the frame is clearly marked for the Paris silversmith, Gustave Keller and dates to c.1890 - 1900.

The back opens to reveal all the original Ivory plates intact, it is the top ones (days of the week) are changed to correspond with the appropriate date in that particular month.

All the Ivory is in superb undamaged condition, making this a rare and top quality find.

The frame measures 4 1/4" (5 1/2" including hook) x 3 1/8".
