Antique Georgian Mahogany Fretwork Mirror - Chippendale Style

Description

An antique Georgian mahogany and parcel gilt fretwork framed wall mirror. The rectangular bevelled mirror plate with moulded surround. A pretty late eighteenth century example with attractive patina and typical old repairs to the vulnerable fret dating from circa 1790.

Construction/Wood:

Mahogany

Condition Report:

Marks and scuffs commensurate with age. Some slight foxing in places and a few scratches to mirror glass. Old repairs to the sections of fretwork with some small sections missing.

Frame Max Width: 18 inches

Frame Max Height: 29 inches
