A very unusual and large round Art Deco coffee table decoratively veneered in Thuya wood. Retaining an excellent colour and original finish this delightful and extremely rare coffee table has been decoratively veneered in the exotic Thuya wood, which comes from a tree endemic to the western Mediterranean region which is only very small growing between 6-15 m so its qualities are sparse and rarely used. The round top with decorative veneering almost parquetry style has a end-grained veneered edge raised on a conical base with segmented veneers. An delightful coffee table which you will be hard pressed to find another in excellent condition with a lovely mellow warm colour.
