This is one of a collection of milliners hat forms, they come from Lyon and date from before 1900
This block is made in Chestnut it is in the shape of a Gendarme’s hat
The hat is 2.5”tall and 7”long and 5.5” wide
All our blocks are lightly cleaned to remove the old glue etc. and treated for woodworm
