This is a fine quality Mannequin she dates from around 1890, she is a genuine French Stockman and differs from so many now available as she has her original brass fittings, her neck piece and solid brass finial fit into the brass topped pole and at the base of her body she even trains her stockman thumb screw adjuster
Our young lady comes complete in her age darkened linen which is rather worn and slightly damaged at the neck where someone has tried an unsuccessful repair, but it can easily be disguised with the clever use of a scarf or similar
The mannequin stands 63” tall adjustable and she is about an English size 12
