Puckerings has dated this piece to the 1890s.
There is a presentation shield to the front, untouched. One of the fittings is stamped EPNS for Electro-Plated Nickel Silver.

The bowl comes complete with it's original creamware liner and Oak handled servers, where the makers mark D&A can be found for the silversmith well renowned for this Oak and silver combination, Daniel and Arter.

A lovely example in excellent condition with slight wear commensurate with age. The base diameter measures 7 3/4", the handles span 9 1/2"; standing 6" to top of handle.
