Beautiful Antique English Mother of Pearl Perfume Bottle Box C.1860

Description

An absolutely charming box in amazing condition given it's over 150 years of age. The box stands on four little original feet and is covered in Mother of Pearl or Nacre shell with a bright shiny patina showcasing the unique iridescent qualities of this shell.

The button at the front is pushed to release the hinged lid revealing three original little perfume or scent bottles with silver (unmarked) screw tops.

An adorable petite size and in near pristine condition. Dating to the Victorian era, around 1860. The box measures 4" x 1 1/2" x 2 1/2" tall; each bottle measures just 1" x 1" x 1 5/8" tall.
