Description

An impressive antique Edwardian pollard oak large single bed (3’6 x 6’3). It is a non-standard size bed, a Large Single: 42 inches × 75 inches with mattresses available online or in larger bed stores. The frame is made from lovely figured pollard oak with a very attractive panelled headboard and footboard with solid brass castors to the feet. It can be assembled or dis-assembled for storage. Comprising headboard, footboard and irons (rails which attatch headboard to fooboard) just a add a slatted base and mattress (sorry no base or mattress supplied). Dating from circa 1910.

Condition Report:

General scuffs, scratches and marks commensurate with age. The reverse side of the footboard has quite a bit of wear and discolouration to the veneer (see photo).
