A large Victorian mahogany slim bookcase of the popular round cornered design. The removable cornice with ogee moulding and cross banded frieze. The 3 mahogany framed glazed doors open to an interior of 4 mahogany faced shelves, 3 of which are adjustable. The base with 3 mahogany panelled doors and shelf interior. The whole standing on a cross banded round cornered plinth base with thumb moulded edge. This bookcase transports in 4 pieces + the 3 glazed doors -the top section in 2 pieces, cornice and base. This bookcase/display cabinet would suit a library, office, traditional style shop or the home where depth is tight. Condition- good with 1 or 2 signs of age commensurate with age and use.
