Description

A charming little French pill box made from rich Cranberry glass, hand blown with a ground pontil mark to the underside. Mounted with pretty polished brass or bronze mounts and inset with a reverse painted picture of the Nortre Dame cathedral in Paris.

This would have been a souvenir piece purchased on a Grand Tour during the late Victorian era. Excellent condition, measuring 1 3/4" in diameter x 1 1/4" tall.
