A Superb Walnut Victorian Period Antique Chaise Longue

Description

A superb walnut Victorian Period antique Chaise Longue. Having a shaped deep buttoned back with a finely carved top rail depicting the Prince Of Wales feathers and foliate detail which is repeated on the lower support rail. The generous sprung seat newly re-upholstered in a gold silk damask above the serpentine walnut seat rail. Supported on carved cabriole supports with brass and porcelain castors. English circa 1860

Condition: This chaise is in beautiful condition, newly re-upholstered to a high standard, replacement castors.

Dimensions: 68" wide x 35" high x 28" deep Seat height 14"
