C19th George IV Period Mahogany Cylindrical Column Bedside Cupboard

C19th George IV period mahogany cylindrical column bedside cupboard. Exceptional quality mahogany flame-veneered circular pedestal cupboard fitted with a white marble top. Constructed with flat pilaster type divisions around the body , with hinged door with brass sprung closing-mechanism and original knob , raised on a plinth base. The detachable circular marble slab top positioned on two locating dowels on top of the mounded edge pillar. Fitted with an interior shelf. Minor stains to marble.

All original , rich dark patina.

Cleaned and waxed ready to use. No splits ,cracks or damage.

Could be used for a variety of purposes , including display pedestal , bedside cupboard or storage for bottles etc .
