Castleforge Antiques Ltd has dated this piece to the 1860s.
. The quality mahogany base has a serpentine shaped from with frieze drawer to the centre which is mahogany lined and it stands on beautifully turned and moulded legs on a central shaped platform base on small bun feet.

Please note : one of the natural veins in the marble appears to be darker on the photographs than the others. This is above the small shelf to the back and it may look like a crack in the marble. It is NOT . Please see close up photograph.

The washstand is in lovely condition.
Measures: 39" high to top of backsplash x 29" high to base x 20" deep x 46" wide.
In very good condition with lovely deep colour and patination and oozing all the charm and character of the period. Our furniture is cleaned and polished using traditional waxing methods.
