A Mahogany & Marquetry Inlaid Edwardian Period Settee

1900 - 1920
Description

A mahogany & marquetry inlaid Edwardian Period antique settee. The shaped back having a classical marquetry inlaid panel to the top rail, above a central marquetry inlaid vase shaped splat. Flanked by pierced lyre shaped supports and having padded arms and seat which are newly re-upholstered in a gold silk damask. The whole supported on splayed supports with boxwood line inlaid detail throughout. English circa 1900-1910

Dimensions: 42" wide x 31.5" high x 19" deep (seat height 15")

Condition: This settee is in excellent condition, cleaned and waxed. Newly re-upholstered in a gold silk damask.
