Antique English Silver Plated Egg Cruet for Six by James Dixon and Sons C.1900

Description

A wonderful late Victorian or Edwardian egg cruet with the six "tulip" shaped egg cups sit on the highly decorative stand with original bun feet. Each of the egg cups sits on it's own pin keeping them in place.

The set comes with six wonderful and highly decorative egg spoons each kept in place with a cut-out in the base, they are made by top notch silversmith, Walker and Hall.

The underside of the stand is signed by another well renowned silversmith, James Dixon and Sons.

Excellent condition with the footprint measuring 7" x 5" and standing 7 1/2" tall to top of handle. Dating to c.1900.
