Castleforge Antiques Ltd has dated this piece to the 1920s.

Each wardrobe has a cornice top with dental moulding above two panelled doors each having two beautifully flamed oval panels to the top and shaped panels beneath separated by cross banded edges and with ornate gilt brass handles and key. They stand on a plinth base on short cabriole legs.

Internally they are both identical and have full hanging space to one side and there is a small shelf with hanging rail beneath. There is a full length mirror to the inside of the door.
The gents wardrobe measures: 75.5" high x 21.5" deep x 51" wide and internal depth 18.5"

The Ladies wardrobe measures exactly the same but the height is 73.5"
In very good condition with lovely deep colour and patination and oozing all the charm and character of the period. Our furniture is cleaned and polished using traditional waxing methods.
