Description

Superb matched pair of late 19th.c. library armchairs c.1890. Slight differences in design but both generously proportioned with matching shaped backrests and arm supports over carved solid oak ‘saddle’ seats of the same height. Over turned front legs and stretchers, on original castors. One chair upholstered in a quality green leather the other retains the original black faux leather covers, with some wear to the arms of both. Otherwise very good condition, frames have been cleaned and waxed in our workshops.

Dimensions: width 22", depth 26", height 38".
