The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1920s.
The movement is signed with the Record Watch Company name. There is an inner hinged cover to protect the movement.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is the Star model by the English watch case maker Aaron Dennison. It is in good condition for its age with a couple of small indentations and some light surface marks.

The lens is a later plastic replacement … there is minor marking but it is very acceptable.
The signed dial is in good condition and has very handsome blued steel Breguet style hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.
