Superb Chess Top Occasional Table

Description

A very good low Victorian walnut and inlaid occasional table. The octagonal shaped top with moulded edge and brass beading decoration. The yew wood and box wood inlaid chess board with box and ebony stringing and walnut banding, all set within the amboyna top. The walnut base with 4 turned and tapered supports joined to a shaped platform with further brass beading and box wood line inlay and standing on 4 carved cabriole legs with scroll feet and brass castors.

Size - Width 26''/66cm. Depth 20.75''/53cm. Height 20.75''/52.5cm. Delivery to most of U.K. £35.
