The break arch hood with gardrooned carved work, surmounted by a cresting with the 3 original brass finials. The original glazed door and cast brass bezel. The shaped top trunk door with choice curled mahogany veneers, flanked by canted edges. Old watch and clockmakers label to the reverse of the trunk door for a Dublin clock repairer. The box base surmounted on the original shaped plinth.

The circular white enamelled dial signed Holbrook Dublin to the centre with subsidiary seconds zone.
The high quality movement of eight day duration united by four knopped pillars, anchor escapement and striking the hours on a single bell.

Original cast iron weights and brass bob pendulum with steel rod.
Fine blued steel hands of spade design.
