Description

Good looking late 19th.c. Gothic or Medieval revival couch c.1890. Unusual design with a high back and wings but open sides. Ebonised hardwood frame with gilded detail. Octagonal arm supports and back legs, square block moulded front legs, joined with stretchers and raised on turned bun feet. Upholstered in a well chosen tapestry. Unrestored, solid and sturdy but with wear to the covers.

Dimensions: width 49", depth 27", height 39".
