Description

A fine Edwardian era taxidermied fox’s head or mask by Murray & Son of Carnforth, Lancashire c. 1910. Wonderfully naturalistic taxidermy presented with a snarling face and glass eyes, mounted on a shield shaped oak board. Large illustrated maker’s label on the reverse for H.Murray & Son. Excellent condition retaining his whiskers.

Dimensions: width 8", depth 10", height 13".
