Attractive Burr Walnut Mantle Clock

Description

An attractive and good quality late 19th century walnut BRACKET CLOCK in perfect working order.

The case is of burr walnut, highly detailed with ormolu mounts; fretwork ormolu side panels and pretty mouldings. The 8-day German "Ting Tang" movement strikes hours and quarters on two gongs, whilst the good dial has gilt spandrels; engraved and pierced chapter ring and "Rise and Fall" subsidiary dial in the arch.

Excellent warm colour; 14ins (35.5cms) high. Guaranteed for at least two years.
