English Sterling Silver and Mother of Pearl Letter Opener - 1923

Description

A handsome letter opener made from sterling silver. The blade has an engraved decoration to one side, this is also where the English hallmark can be found for Sheffield 1923. The terminal is mounted with sterling silver almost resembling a regal crown.

The handle is made from iridescent Mother of Pearl or Nacre shell. Excellent condition, measuring 8 1/2" in length.
