Fine Pair of Library Cabinets by Gillows

Description

A really lovely and rare PAIR of mahogany SIDE CABINETS by Gillows of Lancaster of particularly good colour.

Each cabinet features a figured mahogany top with rounded corners; a frieze with recessed panels and a door flanked by free-standing columns. Both doors are fitted with grills and open to reveal cupboards with a shelf within.

They are supported on typical Gillows "melon" carved and turned feet and both are complete with their original working keys. Ideal as cabinets in the Drawing Room or perhaps as very smart bedside cabinets! 23ins wide; 14ins deep; 36ins high (58.5 x 35.5 x91.5cms).

*The price includes the supply and fitting of pleated silk panels of buyers choice of colour.
