Fine Rosewood Dwarf Cabinet by Gillows

Description

GILLOWS of LANCASTER: a fine quality early/mid 19th century rosewood breakfront DWARF CABINET/BOOKCASE in good original condition.

Below the well figured top, the frieze is decorated with egg-and-dart beading and applied carved paterae, whilst further below are four doors which open to reveal adjustable shelves within. These doors are fitted with elliptical grills and pleated silk panels (which will be replaced at no charge in buyers choice of colour) within a beaded border.

This fine cabinet is supported on typical Gillows solid rosewood "apple" feet and measures 64ins (162.5cms) wide.
