The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1920s.
The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.
The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold plated and when it was made, it was ‘guaranteed to wear 10 years’. There is the odd mark to the case but overall the condition is good for such an early piece.
The watch glass has small light marks.
The white enamel dial has the slightly chunkier Roman numerals, typical of the 1920s period, blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track. There are a couple of faint hairline cracks.
