Description

A mahogany Victorian Period Antique Wellington Chest. Having a rectangular top in beautifully figured mahogany, above an arrangement of seven mahogany lined graduating drawers, each having finely figured mahogany drawer fronts and retaining their original mahogany drawer pulls. The drawers flanked by reeded pilasters with turned mahogany roundels. The right hand pilaster acting as the traditional "Wellington" locking mechanism. Having solid mahogany sides the whole supported on a mahogany plinth. English circa 1860-1870

Dimensions: 47" high x 22.5" wide x 15" deep
