Queen Anne Style Oak Bureau Bookcase C.1910.

Description

Very attractive Edwardian Queen Anne style oak bureau bookcase c.1910. Bookcase top with shaped and carved cornice and glazing bars and three adjustable shelves within. Over a fall front bureau base with three long drawers with shaped and carved fronts and quality brass work, raised on turned feet joined with a cross stretcher. Open the carved fall to reveal the original leather writing surface and a fitted interior of small drawers, letter rack and ink stand which automatically slides forward as the front is lowered. Superior quality with solid oak sides, drawer lings and rear. Excellent condition, original throughout. Cleaned and polished in our workshops. Keys supplied.
