A Chunky Antique Waltham Pocket Watch

1900 - 1920
Description

A chunky antique Waltham pocket watch.

The watch has a stem-winding movement which is working nicely and the time keeping is good to within around one to two minutes over 24 hours. The movement is signed with the American Waltham Watch Company name and it has the serial number 15,371,677 which dates it back to 1906.

The watch measures 57mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is in very nice condition. It has a screw-on bezel which also allows access to the movement.

The thick glass is in good condition.

The signed enamel dial has three or four short hairline cracks towards the edge of the dial. Blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.
