This attractive Victorian burr walnut dressing table was handmade by the well respected firm Heal & Son of London (stamped on drawer,see photo.). Of inverted breakfront design with 4 drawers to each pedestal and a wider centre drawer with recessed cupboard below. The top with 2 banks of 2 drawers and sweeping mirror supports with subtle carved detail and turned finials. The large oval swing mirror with a good carved and pierced crest. The whole with wonderfully figured and book matched burr walnut veneers. Mahogany lined,original turned drawer pulls and locks with keys. 1or 2 bumps and bruises associated with age and use but overall in very good condition. Sizes- Max.Height...67''...170cm.
