Set 4 Antique Georgian Dining Chairs

Description

A magnificent set of 4 antique Georgian mahogany dining chairs, comprising four single chairs with reeded top rails, double arch central rail and over-stuffed seats on turned legs. They stand on turned legs to the front and have out-swept sabre legs to the back. The over-stuffed seats have been newly reupholstered in a royal blue patterned fabric. A lovely rich colour with a warm patina to the mahogany. Dating from early 19th Century. They have been newly restored and french polished – solid and sturdy with a few old mends to the legs.

Condition Report:

Solid and sturdy – newly restored with a polished finish. Some old mends to the back legs (see photos). Newly reupholstered. Some old worm holes to the back of the seat rails.
