Antique Waltham Traveler Full Hunter Pocket Watch

1900 - 1920
Description

Antique Waltham Traveler full hunter pocket watch.

The watch has a stem-winding movement which is ticking away very nicely and the time keeping is good to within around two minutes over 24 hours. The movement is signed American Waltham USA, Traveler and it has the serial number 18,577,676 which dates it back to 1912. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold plated and the condition is good for its age with just minor surface marking. The front cover is released by pushing the winding crown.

The lens is in good condition.

The signed white enamel dial has three short faint hairline cracks but they are barely visible to the naked eye. There is a little ring of marking on the sub seconds dial. Blued steel hands and an outer minute track.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
