Description

A vintage 1920s Albana gold plated pocket watch.

The watch has a stem-winding movement which is ticking away and the time keeping is good to around 2 - 3 minutes over 24 hours. The movement is stamped Swiss made and US pat 24 May 1904.

The watch measures 50.8 mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the loop. The case is the Star model by the Dennison Watch Case Co and is stamped English make this case guaranteed to wear 10 years. The case has light surface marks from use and some small "dings" to the back but otherwise it is in nice condition.

The watch lens is glass and is in nice condition.

The dial is signed Albana, U.W.Co with Swiss made at the bottom. The dial is in nice condition with only the odd minor mark.

The watch has its original blued steel hands.
