The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1920s.
The movement is protected by an inner dust cover.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The gold plated full hunter case is the Star model which was made by the English watch case maker Aaron Dennison. The case back has a minor indentation and there are light surface marks but overall the condition is good for a piece of its age which is early 20th Century.

The push button starts to release the front cover although it needs a little help with a nail to open fully. Inside there is a glass lens which is in good condition, over a signed enamel dial with blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track. There is a short faint hairline crack between 3 and 4.
