1930s James Walker Wrist Watch

1920 - 1940
Description

1930s James Walker wrist watch.

The watch has a Swiss hand-winding movement which is ticking away happily and the time keeping is good to within around two minutes over 24 hours.

The watch measures 21mm wide excluding the winding crown and 30mm high excluding the lugs - it would suit a slim wrist. The case is plated and there are some surface marks but overall it is very acceptable for such an early piece.

Nice convex lens in good condition.

The dial is signed James Walker, London, Non Magnetic Lever. Unusually on this dial there is cross hair detail. The dial is in its original finish and there is some discolouration but still OK to read the time.

The watch has a vintage brown leather strap.
