Description

I am pleased to offer for sale this beautifully framed oil painting on canvas by the Midlands artist Michael Scott, who has signed the painting in the lower left hand corner.

The painting depicts an autumnal landscape with a part-timbered farmhouse from the side with its various outbuildings behind it, with a field in the foreground. There is a small bonfire burning to the left. Unfortunately, we do not know the location.

After research we were unable to discover any biographical details about the artist and, as we have so little details other than his name, cannot even find out when he was born or died, if indeed he has died, as there are so many people with this name. However, we believe that he was resident somewhere in the Midlands.

FRAME

The painting has been expensively framed in a 3 1/4" ornate swept dark gilt gallery frame.

It will be supplied wired and ready to hang.
