Good French Striking Carriage Clock by Jacot

Description

An excellent late 19th century French CARRIAGE CLOCK by the famous maker: Henri Jacot, and stamped with his trademark on the backplate.

Of good large size, the excellent "Corniche" case houses the eight-day movement which retains its original platform lever escapement, strikes hours and half-hours on a gong. Perfect enamel dial and original blued steel hands. In perfect working order and guaranteed at least two years. Numbered 17991.
