Authentic period-style rounded ''barrel-back'' construction with 2 double-door sections. The interior with shaped ,fixed shelves, has been refreshed to imitate the original traditional ''apple-green'' painted finish of the period. Fine cross-grain moulded glazing bars and excellent quality period-style brass decorative pierced and engraved ''butterfly'' hinges ,lock escutcheons and interior bolts to the doors. Simple moulded cavetto cornice and standing on shaped plinth base. Figured walnut throughout of excellent warm ,rich colour , with recessed burr walnut panels to the sides.
