Description

Impressive late 19th.c. ebonised side cabinet c.1880. Beautifully figured amboyna wood veneered top over four doors, the centre two being mirrored, the left and right with clear glass. Flanked on each side with turned and reeded columns. Amboyna wood front with ebonised borders, ivorine inlays and ormolu beading and mouldings. With a maker’s stamp to the rear for the London cabinet makers C.Hindley & Son of Oxford Street. Presented here in unrestored condition with some veneer movement to the top and general wear.

Dimensions: width 76", depth 17", height 42½".
