Description

Fabulous pair of early 20th.c. low back leather club armchairs c.1920. Shaped backrest, scroll arms, sides and rear retain their original attractively worn fawn colour leather upholstery. Luxurious 29" deep sprung seat with loose feather filled cushion in a charcoal velvet. Carved oak arm fronts and frieze running down to carved ball and claw feet joined with front-to-rear stretchers. Some damage to the leather most obviously to the right hand arm of one chair as shown here. Otherwise very good condition, solid and sturdy, cleaned and polished with freshly upholstered cushions and front trim.

Dimensions: width 31", depth 36", height 29".
