Antique Swedish Inlaid Marble Top Commode Chest

1900 - 1920
Description

Top quality antique Swedish commode in lovely condition dating from around the 1910 period. It has a rouge marble top, a slim top drawer with a key & two deeper bottom drawers with original gilt metal handles. There are lots of gilt mounts all over this piece, which are nicely aged. The inlays & marquetry are stunning, incorporating many different woods. In fact there are so many different woods on this commode that I couldn't name them all. They are probably all there. Please enlarge all the images to appreciate the fine details.

Depth - 16.5", 42 cm

Height - 28.8", 73 cm
