The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1910s.
The watch measures 31.5mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is 9 carat gold and there are hallmarks inside the hinged case back for London (import mark), 1910, with an importer’s mark for Louis Weill for Weill & Co. The case is in lovely condition for such an early piece.

The watch glass is in good condition.
The watch has an enamel dial. There is some damage to the edge, between 11 and 12, and a radiating hairline crack, but the damage is not too noticeable when the front is closed. Blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.
A new black leather strap has been fitted.
