Antique Victorian Ebonized & Amboyna Writing Table Desk

Description

Fine quality antique Victorian ebonized & amboyna writing table in good condition. It has many intricate features, so please enlarge all the images. There are two drawers to the front & dummy drawers on the back, all with original gilt metal handles. The leather top is hand coloured & tooled. The turned fluted legs are joined by double curved cross stretchers, with an inlaid panel in the middle. The amboyna is inlaid & crossbanded all over this piece & there are other fine inlays too. I would date it to around the 1860-80's period.

Depth - 22.8", 58 cm

Height - 26.8", 68 cm
