Antique Kingwood & Walnut Console Side Table

1900 - 1920
Description

This antique French style console or side table has some beautiful carving & is in good condition. It must have had a silver cutlery set inside the drawers, because as you can see, they are all fitted out with the baize cutlery holders. I suppose one could take them out & leave the drawers empty, but they could come in useful. I would date this piece to around the 1920-30's period. I think the wood is a combination of Kingwood & walnut. Please enlarge all the images to appreciate the quality of the carving.

Height - 36.6", 93 cm
