The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1890s.
The nicely jewelled movement has a swan neck regulator and is signed Curono Victrix.

The watch measures 50 mm diameter excluding the stem and crown. The silver case has continental silver marks. The inner case back is stamped Ancre Linge Droite, 15 rubis and numbered 891835.
The case has light surface marks from use and a couple of small "dings" to the outer edge but overall it is in nice condition for its age.

The glass watch lens is in nice condition with only the odd minor mark.
The white enamel dial has a couple faint hairline cracks although hardly noticeable.
The watch has a later minute hand although antique.
